Lowest MOQ Branded outer packaging
A stock product in your printed cartons, sleeves or wraps. Your brand is on the box, not the plate. Lowest minimum, fastest turnaround.
Food-contact safe Embossed or debossed logo
Your logo pressed into the fibre of the product itself, with no ink. Clean, premium and safe for a food-contact surface because nothing is added.
Food-safe ink Custom-printed product
Your logo or design printed on the product with food-safe, food-contact-approved ink, applied outside the food zone. Adds print-plate setup.
Custom tooling Custom shape or size
A product made to your own dimensions or design, which requires a new mould. Highest minimum and longest lead time, but a genuine point of difference.

What is the minimum order for private-label compostable tableware?
It depends on the customization level. Branded outer packaging on a stock product carries the lowest minimum, often close to a standard container order. A custom-printed product raises it for print setup. A custom shape or size that needs a new mould carries the highest minimum, frequently a full container per SKU, because the tooling has to be justified across the run.

Get a private-label quoteWhat is the difference between private label and OEM?
In compostable tableware the terms overlap. Private label usually means selling a standard product under your own brand through custom packaging, printing or embossing. OEM (original equipment manufacturer) and ODM (original design manufacturer) usually mean a product made to your own specification or design, including custom sizes and moulds. Ecofy does both in-house, from branded packaging on a stock item to a fully custom-moulded product.
Can you print a logo directly on bagasse tableware?
Yes, through food-safe embossing, debossing or printing with food-contact-approved inks. Embossing and debossing press your logo into the fibre with no ink and are safest for a food-contact surface. When ink is used, it is a food-safe ink applied outside the food-contact zone, with an updated test report covering the printed product.
Does custom branding affect compostability or PFAS-free status?
It can if the wrong inks or coatings are used, which is why documentation matters. Food-safe inks and uncoated fibre keep the product compostable and free of intentionally added PFAS. We confirm in writing that the branded version carries the same certifications as the stock product and provide the test report for the printed item.

Branded packaging on a stock product ships in roughly the standard production lead time plus artwork and print setup. A custom-printed product adds print-plate and pre-production sample approval. A custom mould adds tooling and first-article approval before mass production. Build in time for at least one round of sample approval before the full run.

Vector artwork (AI, EPS or PDF), brand colours in a defined system such as Pantone, clear logo placement and size, and for packaging the dieline, bleed and dead dimensions. Sending print-ready files up front removes the most common cause of delay.
