EU PFAS Limits for Food-Contact Packaging Took Effect on 12 August 2026
The PFAS restrictions in Article 5(5) of the EU Packaging and Packaging Waste Regulation now apply to food-contact packaging. Three thresholds, no transitional period, and the evidence has to sit in technical documentation.
