Are bagasse bowls hot-soup safe?
Yes. Bagasse bowls handle hot liquids up to 220°C for 20 minutes. Validated for soups, broths, hot curries, dal, congee, ramen, and freshly cooked grain bowls. No softening, no leaching, no PFAS coatings. Ideal for soup-bar ladle service and delivery operations.
Do bowls work with PET lids for delivery and grab-and-go?
Yes. Our recyclable PET lids are matched to the bowl sizes, snap-tight sealed and FDA 21 CFR 177.1630 compliant, recyclable through standard PET streams. We confirm the exact lid-to-bowl pairing at quote stage.
Are bagasse bowls oil-resistant for curries and biryani?
Yes. Bagasse achieves grease and water resistance through structural density alone, no PFAS coatings or wax linings. Validated for sauce-heavy biryanis, curries, fried items, and oil-rich meals up to typical foodservice serving times. SGS and Intertek migration test reports ship with every order.
What's the MOQ for bowl orders?
Standard bowls ship at FCL minimum, approximately 96,000 pieces (smaller sizes) to 200,000 pieces (mixed sizes) in a 40' HQ container. Custom-branded bowls require 200,000 piece MOQ for the first run. Pallet quantities available for India domestic.

Standard bowls are natural white (uncoated bagasse). Bowls can be custom-pad-printed with brand logos or designs at 200,000 piece MOQ. Brown kraft (unbleached) bagasse colour available on special request, lead time 8 to 10 weeks. Inks used in printing are food-safe and BPA-free.
Are bagasse bowls dishwasher safe?
Bagasse bowls are designed for single-use foodservice (compostable disposable). Not intended for dishwasher cycles. For commercial reusable bowls, look at our HORECA-grade alternatives (talk to our team).
